i let little grimoire go offline many years ago, but i've been wanting to re-upload it all these years. so i quickly scribbled a layout and this was the first iteration of mudflower (below)!
it's basically the same thing as my old website as far as navigation and content goes but inspired by the witcher and all the thorny bushes i walk through for work.
it originally had this little hut (mind you, i haven't drawn pixel art in several YEARS), but mostly i only liked the roof of it and scrapped the idea. though, i am going to make little drawings for most rooms eventually. i want it to look like a swamp hag lives here, hehe.
and it's loosely based off of the rosepine palette theme, but i wanted it forest green at first. ultimately, i ended with a muted purple and orange css palette for halloween, and thus more purple:
